Electrocoin's Baby Bar X board

Also known as MK1 and Universal 8205-A board

The most common error with these is the flashing 'F' in the credit display!

Next common is no sound!

If you have any of these faults then I can help!

Using a Fluke 9010 Troubleshooter, bench power supply and oscilloscope I can diagnose and quickly get these boards up and running again!

Electrocoin no longer support these old boards on repairs, but I do!

If your board is as bad as this one below with battery corrosion, then this is too far gone for me to repair within a reasonable price

HOWEVER, even a board this bad CAN be turned around and made to work again

It is not easy but it CAN be done, and this is all without a circuit diagram.

Board  was cleaned. Eaten away tracks remade, Green solder resist applied and cured.

All components cleaned and tested before reinsertion into the board.

Board tested on bench with a Fluke 9010 before being placed into a Bar X machine

Board functioned completely well

SUCCESS

A Coincell battery holder and CR2032 battery will now be put in the place of the original battery and charging circuit disabled to retain the memory.
